I just want to know how many they are making, how to get one(is possible), and how much.

Strength limits.

I agree with Vortecd, probably 300 units, $150K MSRP, $100K ADM, and only people with more money than sense will bother.

My fearless predictions (predicated on my jaded view of how things have gone so far with the last call stuff):

1. how many they are making - damn few, will be shocked if it's > 700 - 1000 cars
2. how to get one(is possible) - be the son of a top dealer or sports/entertainment/high vis collector 'celebrity' or be super rich
3. and how much - betting it will be close to $150K +++ insane dealer mark-ups

I wonder if they'll run one of these down the strip? I doubt it personally but that would set it off if it ran a good time.

1033 crank would be tough to get in the 8s at 4300+. It would have to be some really negative da. With that being said nothing is saying this car wont be 4000 to 4100 pounds. Also heck may not even be a 8 speed. We still arent clear how street focused this car will be. If only 300 to 500 they will sell even if they came with a Kirkley seat. I will say this with 500 of them 100k markup is ridiculous and I'd buy a lot of other cars first for that price.

I'll say it...with @Speedy! final pricing guess of $250K...if I could swing it, I would, and I sure as fuck wouldn't keep it in a bubble display and never drive it...but I can't swing it so there's that...

We can guess all we want until the 20th but I think we can all agree it's going to be an instant legend, and a worthy end to an era, as much as we all hate for that to come to pass.

I was saying the opposite. I believe 15k wheels were ordered. It won't be a low number like 300 or 500 but a much higher amount

Cool car though. But it will not get me into the showroom to buy a Hornet.

They will shoot for 8s in mineshaft air and over prepped track using every trick in the book to try and run an 8.80 or whatever the ET will be.

But like the Demon, it will be hard to get into the 8s in July heat and humidity at the track.

Not sure how many they think they can sell over that amount though.

I agree that would be the goal. The hardest part will be 9.0 and not breaking the 150mph mark. for example doing my licensing passes I cut a low 1.3 (probably 1.33) 60ft and ran a 9.2 at 149 car was probably 4375 pounds and da was 2500ish . When I went 8.88 it was around 0 DA cut a 1.24 and 155mph. Car weighed around 4300 pounds. To put times and things into perspective.

Vegas has the huge Motor Speedway and one of only two 4-wide dragstrips in the country as a part the LVMS. They also have SEMA where this number 7 thing was originally supposed to go down. The preceding 3 days to this last call deal has the big MATS (Muscle Cars at the Strip) drags going on. So……

When you think of what they would have to do I don't see why it couldn't be 150k. That gives them about 50k more over a Jailbreak
