Here’s a clutch application chart that details what is applied in each gear it’s from a ZF8HP45 but it’s the same as the 70 and 90 series B9EF2F57-7F4A-4E4C-8C74-8A3A439A3E6D.jpeg

Why would slippage be happening here and not in some other trans with similar throughput?
read the entire thread and you will see what I belive caused the burnt clutches ,but I have heard you can adjust pressures in different gears but I will need to talk to curt to confirm it

I am not counting pennies,,, butt this place and the utta place has cost me a bit. More than 2 fiancée's plus rings and cruises. But, I will en tr view the ship fer taco Tuesday and the critter want cause me a problem. But, I do get what I pay for. The younger usually the more $$$. I have a ways to go with this 2018 and learn how to screw it up and fix the clutch. You fix it,, or it says no. No in between. Watched the idiot next door change out the battery on his 2019 Z 01 and a night mare. He works as a mechanic at a performance shop and struggled. Good. This new #c8 is awesome.

The steels are the same
The alto clutches are considered heavy duty clutches And withstand more heat

Dang dude, fast work and great info. Auto tans make me nervous and I leave that to the pros like you. I kinda understand the clutch diagram, but can you explain it? So E and D clutches were slipping and those appear to be used in just about every gear.

I had some down time at work today and dug in to some of the trans tuning stuff. There is a TON of stuff you can do in here. Admittedly a lot of it I don't understand because I'm no auto trans expert, but the two of us could probably come up with some good info.

You can definitely set shift pressure per gear as well as clutch ramp time, torque converter fill time, and a bunch of other stuff. I'm gonna look at it some more tomorrow and compare mine to a Demon crate tune and a RE stock tune.

I am curious . There are a lot of solenoids in there . What else could be upgraded besides the clutch packs and steels?
