I asked a certain tuner about tuning my Redeye, he clearly stated that this car is already maxed out from the factory and any tuning would only be effective if you replaced , heads, cam, TB, SC. I’d like to hear your thoughts.
Sorry but I strongly disagree. You can pulley these just like any hellcat or pretty much do the same mods . Although as always you will need good fuel .

Here is an example of what a tune only red-eye is capable of. This was the final round of the Canadian Mopar Nationals last month against a pullied , tuned hellcat charger with lots of weight removed piloted by a very capable driver.
Simple tune with gas, same motor as demon
Factory 840. As Hpindy says pulley tune gets more. We have hellcats putting 850 @ the wheels and more with e85 if that’s your bag.
Although their has been some question recently what the stock reciprocating internals are capable of. Regardless I would contact a Known reputable tuner.
The “certain tuner” needs to be ignored. He is obviously unaware of the performance gains with pulley changes and even just fuel/tuning results that are seen with these. Change the supercharger? Umm... no.

Thanks for the courtesy. I don't mind answering general querries publicly. We can PM if the conversation needs to go off topic or gets too deep. Ask away. Lol

I run e85 since it is a superior fuel. The fuel is what requires the injectors. I run the stock pulleys. Contact Curt directly for his going rates on the tuning. You won't even need the injectors unless you run e85. The stock injectors will support pump 93 and unleaded race gas.
Last time I talked to Curt he was needing a test redeye so he can remote tune one. I guess he got one. I lost interest in tuning mine for now but thanks to you guys. I'm sure the urge will be back.
