I just moved over from the now lizard infested forum and will start my stay here with the build I have going with my 2016 Challenger Hellcat. There were a number of big hp/performance members over there who will hopefully join me with sharing their builds. Here goes..... some older pictures to start.

The build as it is in the above pictures is a stock motor with pulleyed e85 tune by SRT Autoworks in Phoenix Arizona. It made 915whp/908wtq. Remote tuning by Tim Barth. Best et was a 9.82 sec at 144.87mph on a unprepped track (meaning no traction). That engine has been replaced and the entire car is now under a complete rebuild. Info and Picts to follow...

One of the first mods done in preparing for the big build in the future was to take care of the NHRA safety requirements to run under 10 seconds and faster than135 mph in the quarter mile. That of coarse includes a certified roll cage with five point harness and window net... The custom ten point chromoly cage and chute setup was done by Speedtech in St George, Utah

Beyond the cage there are other requirements, including a rear exterior electrical shut off and a parachute if finish line speeds exceed 150mph (they will)......

And then there is the required NHRA Competition License..... 6 observed consecutive passes starting with easy half and three quarter track passes, and followed by “representative” runs (meaning in the nines).

One big fun adventure before tearing it down was the NoFlyZone half mile in Gila Bend Arizona in the spring. SRT Autoworks is one of the sponsors of the twice a year event. This was something new for me and... what a blast! The car ran 171mph and I got to try out the chute for the first time. The next NFZ Arizona is scheduled for Sunday October 13th. Anybody in the South West who wants to see an amazing event or with a Hellcat who would like to see what these 1000 horsepower Cats are like is invited to show up. Hellcat owners who may be interested in one of SRT Autoworks builds can ride along (we provide the helmet). Ladies who will scream all the way down the track only need to like Hellcats and think the guys who drive them are special.

The build has been taking place for about a month now. It’s a long process with what’s being done. The new engine is a Better Built Performance 426 with forged and Billet internals. Thitek heads, Comp Cam, and Whipple Supercharger. Fore fuel system and ARH exhaust. The torque converter is OEM Demon with the stock A8 trans (for now). Rear drive line is all DSS (9” differential conversion). Gear is Strange 3.25 with a spool. Suspension is OEM from a Scatpack 1320 and rear control arms are all adjustable Spohn. Rear brake conversion to 15” From Carlyle with new Billet Specialties WinLite Drag Pack wheels. Here’s a few assorted pics of what’s been going on for the last couple weeks....

Yes..... I would guess a Hellcat build section would probably be better. I’m new here. As you can see by the duplicate picture posts. 😂. Just trying to get the ball rolling with some of the performance guys coming over from Gieco land. WhipCat... I’m talking about you.

In progress today! The Carlyle 15” brake conversion. That includes the BMR toe links with skinny end joints and adjustable sway bar links. Wheels are on!

Also, did any of those mods void your warranty ?

I should have purchased your beadlocks when you where selling them damn they made the racestars look so nice.

Yeah. I’ve been hesitant to let them go. They actually just came off the car for good today and will end up on one of the other shop cars. Gotta keep peace amongst the team mates.

The Stinkeye is just a couple nasty steps above the Redeye. And yes... it ate the warranty 😝
