In the ADM price range there's quite a few super cars that is far superior in handling, comfort and just as fast.

Yup

It got me looking at used GT3s and Turbo 911s.
Just a way different class of car once you get close to 200k.

My D170 spec was about 110-115k. I'd have one if I could have got one for that. But my dealer where I got my 18 didn't get shit for last call or even 22 JBs.

In 0 DA with tires 10.7 is where at least a Hellcat should be. 100 more HP for an SS 10.3ish. There will be other factors like weight (my TAXI is nearly 4700 where some Challengers removing seats can be in the 4300 range)

I feel like in those conditions a stock redeye is at least a 10.2 car. I mean I've done 10.8 at a mile high! What was Simon running with the now @Moored performance redeye back in the day? 10.0?

True but there's a wrinkle, and one I came across a lot after Go Man Go was stolen. A LOT of these cars are molested. I don't mind correctly done modifications, but cars I was seeing had stuff that just looked wrong had been through multiple owners and had less than 10K miles etc. Really eye opening.

I wouldn't buy a Redeye. I could get a Hellcat way cheaper. But not only that I could buy an R/T or Scat Pack. For what the cars have gotten to in price be further off to buy one used. I just look at it like I did in the mid 80s looking at 15-20 year old cars. Now the used cars wouldn't be much more then 10 years old at the most. I would be full in for a rebuilt title if the car and price were right. My cars will be modified and driven daily and not having deep pockets it is what I can afford to buy
