Good info. I'm curious on this fuel pump deal now. Mine's set to 100% about 40% sooner than stock, so in my logs I see Commanded Fuel DC% and it shows 100.

He sent me some pics of it . It is a nice unit and true plug and play . I think it might be a good safety for the few time the car goes to the track . For any major upgrades and/or lots of racing I like the IE dual pump kits . That too is super simple to install .

I bet you see it drop to 75 at times as well and even though your duty cycle is low when its dropping even to 75 psi your duty cycle will go up in turn ,it should stay at 79+ at wot if you log it you will see that the desired pressure is 80 at wot

Interesting, what are the exact pid names so I can double check? Is It:
Fuel Pump Commanded DC
Fuel Pressure (SAE)

Someone asked if the Demon pump was the same as the Hellcat. The answer is no. The Demon and Redeye both have dual fuel pumps where the standard Hellcat is single fuel pump only.

I deleted the file line clip thread because mine came off on me today thankfully didn’t hurt anything I went to the shop and fabricated a clip myself that actually works better but I’m going to try another option this week I’ll update when I find out

Just an update this is the correct part we need for our cars
Heads up 4 parts stores here in town did not carry it I had to special order to get it so be prepared if you ever have to replace it

I think I found the actual clip that will be the fix , I will have it in next week but the clip I fabricated today worked out very nicely the problem with the 5/8 dorman part# 800-041 is it’s to big I believe our actual line size from measuring the fuel pump where the pressure line goes on is a 1/2 so I ordered dorman part # 800-040

Tested yesterday and I see desired fuel pressure 80psi and fuel pressure matches at 80.x psi in the logs. At wot fuel pump commanded DC is set to 100% in my tune and that's what I see in the log as well.

I thought about going to the overdrive but now I decided its enough the way it is im fairly positive in low da it will get a 10,0 maybe high 9s on my race tune
no sense in going any more isnt like i can go that fast on the streets and no street tires will grip decently enough for it with the 3.09 gears i have im already breaking the 10.5 indy 500 tires loose at 65 mph since i installed the boost a pump
