Oh I’ve heard of BaT before for sure, but @ a 1/4-mil now and likely to rise no thanks. For that money I’d be looking at a Viper ACR, Ford GT, etc. Tell will tell of course but it sure looks like all the “supply issues” have been showing up in these C8s by way of MASSIVE issues, and I’d like not to beta test for any manufacturer…

Even at $215k on the road courses the C8 Z06 is proving to be a bargain, competitive with machines that are far more expensive. IF you can find a Viper let alone special order one the color you want, they are now at least that expensive.

Ur not touching a new gen ford gt under a mil, and for an older gen think mid to high 3s minimum, 500 and up for good examples.

I'll give em benefit of the doubt, he was probably thinking older gt's which are mid to high 3s and some 500+.

Crazy to think you could have doubled ur money with an acr or ford gt if you bought one 8-10 years ago.

I remember way back I pulled up at a light next to a Ford GT. This was during speedweeks.

I looked over and Greg Biffle was driving it. I revved on him a little with my S55 Merc. He smiled, I smiled and he proceeded to dust my ass.

Since @DavidKFla mentioned it I had an '06 S55 AMG back in the day and man was that thing a hoot to cruise in...got pulled over by NY State Police after attending the SRT Racing School at Watkins Glen back in the day doing 130-ish...forgot I wasn't in school/on the track anymore...fortunately the officer had a sense of humor.
