About 35-40 years ago, gekko bought thousands of radar units and passed them out to local PD's in hope they would use them to write tickets, which would justify rate increases. There was an exposé in C&D (when it was a real car magazine before it went woke) detailing the facts.Gekko is scum, always have been, no reason to think they will change.
