It's hard for me to believe that it will be 9 yrs.since I purchased my first HC...(which I still own)...I've been a member here over 5 yrs...(again hard to believe)..I've seen members come and go..and guys have sold off their cats for a number of reasons...Now that production has ceased..and there will be no more SRT's to speak of...and members here have squeezed just about every ounce of performance out of these amazing cars....what happens now..how long will your HC hold it's alure before you decide to move on...how many will keep them for an extended period...or forever...could it ever be possible to become bored with these fantastic cars....I know my plan...what about the rest of the faithful on here

I intend to keep mine. When I find something I like, I don't let it go. I still have the first new car I ever bought, and my wife and I just celebrated the 41st anniversary of our first date.

The performance and looks make me want to get another one, but the inflated value and sort of attention they get these days has made me watch from a distance.
Considering a HC Durango or Jeep for the wife if I can get her to bite… I just don’t think she will go for it.

These cars represent a time in my life when the 70 Challenger was released it was all I could think about...It was totally unattainable as a High School kid...(and for many years to come...)...now I got 3...and they will never be for sale...ever

Unfortunately have way more money into my car now than I'll ever get back, so I'll likely have it forever. That was the plan from the beginning, though. I don't know what I'd move on to since there's nothing else of its caliber being produced by any manufacturer and likely never will be again.

I watched all the rich kids whose dads were big 3 auto executives drive new muscle cars and I’d cruise Woodward Ave with some of them, but always as a passenger. My cars had four cylinders (except for the Corvair that had a couple more).
So, a car with perfect retro styling, 700hp and a manual transmission just checks all the boxes for me. I don’t care one bit what’s offered in the future. I’ll keep it until my left leg won’t work the clutch. Even then maybe I’ll keep it to look at.

Plan on keeping my current fleet until I cannot physically or mentally safely operate them anymore.

Yeah, I had no money, just enough to by a few gallons of gas, not enough to fill it and have anything left for Mc Donalds later that night. Would run down Woodward tease the Hookers down on six mile and go back to Pontiac before we got into deep trouble LOL. My Cat gets driven little, I have like 3,400 miles on it. If the value would get up above 100K at some point, and I doubt that it will. I would sell it. It is an amazing car, but like my YZFR1 Super Sport bike, you can't really use it like you would like too, for fear of going to jail and costing half your life savings to get out.

I still look at mine as the most beautiful car ever.
I still consider myself very blessed to be in a position to own it.
I would never get rid of it.
