So based on everything I just read we just need someone to read a Demon BCM and we should be able to turn on Drag Mode (suspension), this is also likely how the HO option is teamed with the Demon centre stack in Redeyes.

I'll get the licensed version of alfaOBD in the spring.

Yep. Looks that way.

A demon BCM file would be a must.

The winning combo would be:

AlfaOBD
OBDLink MX
Note++ 7.8.4 (with comparison plugin)

Keep in mind Alfa is Android only and Note++ is Windows only.

I have the OBDLink MX+ for just this purpose (and tuning LS cars). Now if only a Demon owner would be so kind to support.

We are an Android only household. ;)

Call out to any Demon owners, for a BCM read.

This is a non-invasive process and cannot be seen by the dealer. All your info remains hard coded in your BCM. We just need to read an image of the settings, to compare to our vehicles, for future changes.

The process takes about 2 minutes.

I'm in SoCal and can meet up, or you are welcome to swing by my estate.

Bob, is there a publicly available Google Drive folder containing the BCM reads from other models/trims?

Only RAM, that I'm aware of.

We need to start one, though.

We need to set up a google drive folder, to share BCM images...

Anyone know how to do that?

I'm a luddite... can barely find this damned forum, when I need it. LOL

Please Read!

Supported years: 2005 to 2018. This being said, other model years can be used on some vehicles, to make changes.

Make a backup of your original BCM configuration before making any changes. This will enable you to both share your BCM config, with owners of similar vehicles and will enable you to compare changes, side by side, if anything goes amiss.

Google Drive BCM Upload Instructions:

Uploading System ID (BCM) Information:

To upload your System ID information (BCM), click on the battery icon, in the lower right corner. Go to the "Tools" icon in the upper right corner. From there select "Upload to Google Drive", it will ask you to link to Google Drive. Link your Google Drive to Alfa. Select "Upload to Google Drive" and "Upload Faults and Status Log". Then select "Body_Chrysler_Info". Name the file to upload whatever you wish. I suggest using the current date and whatever change you'll be making (i.e. 122519widowsdown). Done! Now you can go to your Google Drive and fund the system info a little easier.

To review your BCM info, download Note++ and the compare plugin, for Windows. This will give you a side by side comparison of the BCM pre-change status, and the post change status. It is a road map to getting back to where you want to be, in case you mess up... because some single changes in Alfa make multiple BCM changes.

For viewing the information directly on the app, go to the bottom and select the battery icon once a connection has been made. Then select Read System ID. It should start populating below. From what I have seen the Alfa programming tool keeps a record by date of all changes in the BCM from time of first connection.

Only make changes you are sure of!

There are quite a few setting in the AlfaOBD software that are for a multitude of FCA vehicles. What you will find in Alfa. If it makes sense and if another Charger/Challenger/Trackhawk has it from factory, then chances are you can set it. You must also keep in mind not only code settings will get you what you want, you will also need the proper hardware installed. Alfa is not magical. Don't set changes to things you're vehicle is not equipped with.

Recommended OBD client is the OBDLink MX, or MX+. Google both, for comparison shopping. Both work just fine, with FCA vehicles. MX+ adds IOS compatibility, but there is no Alfa for IOS, so don't let that sway you.

2018+ vehicles will need a security bypass harness, for the OBD port.

(Borrowed largely from the AlfaOBD Mega thread on RamForums.com. Edited for applicability and clarity).

I recommend reading this thread and using the search function to glean information you are looking for. The Rsm trucks use the same architecture as we do, so many of their known working changes will cross over.

While our Cats are pretty much loaded, there are still a few tweaks available to discover and implement.

Alfa offers a free, fully functioning download. It is limited to 15 minutes of connectivity, so I don't recommend making changes with it... but you an use it to get an idea of how it is structured and to see the items you can tweak.

The download function works flawlessly. Thanks

How-To: WINDOWS DOWN WITH FOBIK.

This is a tutorial on how to enable front windows down with FOBIK unlock button.

Video:

https://ve.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_prckzaE8pi1u35mw4_720.mp4

Supposedly, this feature was cancelled in 2013, but Alfa can bring it back!

The command, with the FOBIK, is UNLOCK/UNLOCK-HOLD. That is to say, press the UNLOCK button once, then a second time and hold it down. The windows will roll down as long as you hold the button.

I won't go over saving your BCM flash. That is in the first post, but it should be done, EVERY TIME you make a change, with Alfa.

Launch AlfaOBD and choose DODGE/RAM, CHRYSLER, or JEEP. Click the bluetooth button and select your bluetooth OBD client, from the list.

Select your vehicle.

Select BODY COMPUTER.

View attachment 1169

Tap SELECT CONTROL UNIT and choose your MY Powernet.

View attachment 1170

Click CONNECT

View attachment 1172

Click SELECT PROCEDURE TO START

View attachment 1173

From the drop down, select CAR CONFIGURATION CHANGE

View attachment 1174

Click SELECT OPTION

View attachment 1175

Scroll down to DOORS - GLOBAL WINDOWS DOWN

View attachment 1176 Select YES and click START once. In the information box, at the top, the current car configuration will appear. It will tell you if your car is set YES, or NO, or whatever variable you can choose from.

Click CONTINUE and wait. Alfa will tell you something like PROCEDURE COMPLETE and you can close the program and turn off the key, or push the start button to the OFF position.

Remove your OBD client.

Grab your FOBIK and try it out!

Enjoy!

NOTE: GLOBAL UP has not been figured out, yet. If you do figure this out, please post it up. Even if selected YES, the windows will not roll back up. If you have a pre 13 LX, what is the FOB routine, to roll the windows back up? Maybe it does work and we just don't know the windows up dance.

The global windows down function does work on my 2019 Redeye.

Be advised when I down loaded The BCM file it appears on the screen after hitting the battery icon. When I uploaded To my google shared Drive I keep seeing my 2015 file. After some head scratching I realized the 2019 file was down below.

The DRL drop off from to on To off works on my 2019 as well. Also I noted the global windows down has more range than the 2015.

IIRC, you can re-assign DRL to the white rings, instead of the amber rings, if you're so inclined.

Doesn't work.

Down, only... unless we don't know the key dance.

Up to 2013 had up and down with fobik.

Maybe someone who had this feature, on another FCA vehicle, can tell us the secret handshake to try, with the FOBIK.

Try it and report back, though.

On the other site, Pete (FunkyChicken) mentioned FCA discontinued windows with FOBIK in 2013. That's all I have to go on.

Glad the sales codes are still in there, to turn back on.

BTW, a married Tazer allows windows down and up... but you need to keep it plugged in, for it to work. I think Joe is spoofing the BCM, in the Tazer, to get this to work.
