Well.... hell. Thinking of getting rid of the Charger Hellcat

Awww Troop...say it aint so...Retirement??how old are ya troop anyway...

I turned 55 in May and I've decided that after all these years of working......I just don't want to do it anymore. I was planning to go in 10 years at 65, but I started looking at what I could do to go at 62, and that meant cutting monthly expenses and putting more away into my various IRA's. So.....that's what I decided to do.

I've been in this position years ago. I had to do it and it sort of broke my heart. It was the right thing to do and it got me out of a mess. Problem is; I never went back to the place I missed. Don't know why, I just didn't.
I'm not saying don't do it, just stick around my friend.

A Hellcat Charger won't be hard to replace in a few years if your situation changes. I regretted getting rid of my Challenger and only lasted a year before buying another one. Used values are up right now so if you are thinking that way now is probably as good a time as any to unload it. Things may change in six months and the value could tank.

Mmmm. You need to add 7,200 square feet to your home. Huh. Given that my wife and I are massively comfortable in a 2,400 square foot house... I don't know how a normal person is equipped to help you make your decision. Comparing storing 2,400 square feet of stuff and a 2,400 square foot garage without a Hellcat to having an awesome car you can drive at-will... I dunno. Doesn't seem right, but it's your world.

As for the business expansion, well, I've always understood that shouldn't be dipping into personal resources.
