I think I'm done with dodge, I just had a dealer secure one at msrp then 20 minutes later can you do 10k? A few phone calls later some dude called in and offered 50k, no loyalty today lol.
Seen that many times (somewhere I posted the Doctor in Houston who jumped to the head of the MB high performance waiting list by always willing to pay more - I watched the dealer take someone elses car and sell it to him, without ever calling the person who originally ordered it, or ever letting them know it was received). It's all bullshit. The only way out would be to go to the dealer with your own contract, one which prohibits them doing that, and having them sign that one, instead of using their own. They will laugh and tell you not to let the door hit you on the way out - in legal terms this is called an adhesion contract where there is not really any bargaining power on one side of a contract negotiation. It's shit. Only thing worse than dealers is the time share industry - their contracts force people to commit forever, INCLUDING THEIR DESCENDANTS, to the rip off provisions.
