Kinda, I still want a restored 2nd gen Z28, preferably a 1980 manual w T-tops
I've had about a dozen over the years and want one to keep along with my Super Stock.

Not mine but exactly like my last one that I still miss. Sold it in 2006
Still have an extra set of N90 wheels
Wife's willing to fly somewhere and drive one home if we find the right one.

FWIW I see super nice low-mileage Z28s like this all the time out here in/near ABQ, seen quite a few for sale too in the $15k neighborhood.

All the good ones I see are out west, that is why we would have to fly out and drive it home (I know you can get transport but where's the fun in that)

Four generations of Chrysler employees. I've had about 300 cars. 1 Ford, 1 Buick, 2 Audis, and a Honda.

When all the Chevy guys give me shit about mopars....I tell them I had a Chevy once. They get all smiley...Then I tell them, "Then I got a job."

About 1986, good friend found a '85 (I think) Z28 HO low mileage with a manual in Riverhead LI. He was not a manual guy and asked me to check it out. I heard about a deficiency in the fuel delivery so I tested it. WOT at about 90 or so the car would completely die, for about 5 sec, then come back. The fuel pump could not keep up. I think they still used the mechanical pumps on the engine back then. Dealer added the electrical additional pump in the fuel tank to solve the prob, I tested and my buddy bought. I liked the car, but it was red, not my preference.
