Local guy owns a Plaid and does consistent 9.1's. No arguing performance. But all EV's will need a new battery in 6-10 years, performance deteriorating with age. Kinda kills the long term value.

Local guy owns a Plaid and does consistent 9.1's. No arguing performance. But all EV's will need a new battery in 6-10 years, performance deteriorating with age. Kinda kills the long term value.
Ev trade in values are in the toilet no matter how new they are. Dealers are finding that many need new batteries.

Imagine lookin @ a used one of those say 4/5 yrs. old...salesman says..probably will need a battery in 2/3 years..oh yeah..it's 15g's,,and another 5 g's to dispose of the old one...but man..aint the interior is mint...:p:p:p;)

There's some guys here in Florida who rebuild the batteries at a pretty reasonable price.
