Sweet, I'll be watching your results. 315s were hard to find for a while, but guess they're starting to become available if you found some.

I dropped the cradle for the AAD arms and didn't think it was a big deal, so either way this lockout install shouldn't be a big deal either (knock on wood).

It's about to start getting too hot for the track around here, so I've got a couple months to get ready for the fall. I'll be hitting the track next Saturday morning during ChallengerFest so we'll see how that goes. The track is doing a private rental for race tires only limited to 50 cars and the prep is phenomenal when they do those but the DA probably won't be great. I'm expecting 2,000+.

I found a set not far from me. He ordered them found another set and these are the ones he ordered. Summit is showing 8-17. If you think you may want 315s you either need to get some on order or do some searching. I feel some places will be getting them in this month being a month ago they were showing May delivery

I did the install today. Took less then an hour. and I did one at a time. The rears you just take the bolt out, the black cap comes off and you put the piece in. The fronts you need to take the plastic cover off that run towards the front of the car under the gas tank. There is one on each side. For the front I loosen the bolt but left it on. There is a metal yellow tab you need to remove. Use a breaker bar and you can pry it off, you don't need to drill the side to get it off. The front just pushes on. I torqued the bolts to 126 ft lbs. They sure didn't feel like they were on that tight when taking them off

There is a trick where you don't have to do that. Darrel put them on Jons car at the track without drilling and I did the same at home with a pry bar. The bolt has to be in but loosened up and it will come off. If you take the bolt out the rubber will flex to much

I had to drill mine out as well. Prying with a bar wasn’t budging them due to the rubber flexing. All in all a simple, 1 man job. 1/2 shaft swap from Hellcat to Demon, pretty straight forward, and a 1 man job as well as the Wiles 4in d/s swap. When firming up the rear of my car, the knuckles on the rear when swapping out oem to AAD parts was the serious ball breaker for me! Had to enlist help for that.

Yep, if you remove the bolt completely it will flex too much

Not sure if better but you don't have to trim rubber off the bottom. These don't have the top ring and not sure how much that helps anyway but could lead to more noise with the ring being in contact with the frame

The ring doesn’t actually contact the frame, it sits down pretty low inside the top. I lubed mine up with ultra lube. I think the ring inside in the top helps more, but who knows

Never used them so didn't know. If the bottom cant move can the top with the rings, I don't know. I did feel a difference with them so it did take out some movement

it’s hollow at the top, which is where the ring comes in - takes up the space. So the bottom ring handles up and down movement and the ring handles side to side, in theory

Hand down best handling mod I’ve done to the car, would always kick the rear end out sideways, just posts and goes straight now
