@Speedy!

Have you looked closely at the fuel system?

Does it have an inline filter somewhere between the fuel pumps and injector rails?

I've looked it over pretty good and other than a "voltage stabilizer" that's in the trunk by the FPDMs, the only other thing I see different is some kind of box the fuel line runs through on the passenger side. At first I thought it was a filter, but it doesn't appear to be serviceable. Someone suggested it's some kind of cooler? I'm also not sure this is unique to the 170, might be on other 2023 models.

If there's a connector on the other end, it's not easily visible. Just straight metal tubing back toward the fuel tank. I'd have expected any type of filter to have some kind of nuts or attachment right at the filter itself.

I bet it’s one of those magnets for better fuel mileage, it polarizes the electrons in the fuel so they can pack themselves closer together for denser fuel delivery. 🤡

I work with some really educated/"smart" people that believe in magnetic magic...

Looks like it's been on the Redeye 6.2's since 2020 if the catalog is correct...still would like to cut that box open for a peek :D

It’s a receiver/surge tank between the pumps (supply) and the rails(demand), similar to what’s used in pneumatic and AC systems to smooth out spikes and lulls between on/off demand.

Possible retrofit?

But wait, there's more: If you shop now, you get a free Turbonator spinning air rotor for your flipped air cleaner lid so it spirals the incoming fuel charge to SoOpEr-DoOpEr-ChArGe your engine for better fuel mileage! :p

(OK, so who here is old enough to remember all those 1970's BS fuel saver snakeoil contraptions? I know Speedy is too young for that era.)

The stock the hard line is most likely short on the cars that have that than regular <2020, so probably not
