Forgive my ignorance im old and trying to learn, which is a chore lol.
I purchased curts level 2 package slightly used from hellno. Great guy by the way. Anyway it consists of
Listens 2.85 pulley
Fic 775 injectors I have to get a 180 stat
I also have blower spacers and thermo blanket

Question.
1. Will this setup support curt's flex fuel tune?
2. If a flex tune reads 93 to e85 why do people go
With a separate 85 tune
3. If my setup won't support a flex tune what else
Will I need?
1. You're going to need drop-in pumps and larger injectors to go flex.
2. Some people go e85 only because they want to run more boost than is safe on pump gas. Also, the flex-fuel tuning is great but it's only accurate to about 10%. As a result, I have to play it a little safe on the tune. What this means is, typically an e85 only tune will perform slightly better at the track. Most would never know the difference but for someone doing a lot of racing, it's worth doing a straight e85 tune.

No way in HP Tuners to limit throttle output % compared to pedal position?
HPT in 17 mustang platform my buddy (M6 also) can limit throttle % by gear.
That can’t be done in Dodge platform in HPT? Even as a whole across the board if not by gear.

Not sure I understand the question? Yes you can limit throttle opening voltage by rpm.

@curt_dusterhofftuning I think he's trying to limit boost by gear. So as an example in 1st gear in his M6 he gets 7psi to limit the chances of blowing the tires off, shift to second he gets 11psi, shift to third he gets 100% boost available. At least I think that's what he's trying to do.

Definitely not possible on factory electronics. You can limit throttle position or even pull spark by rpm and mph but not boost by gear.

Thanks Speedy, your on track with the reason and yes that’s one way of doing it boost but I was thinking maybe just limit throttle opening by gear, I think this because it’s what my buddy does with his 800 wheel M6 Mustang and it helps him better manage launches. A parameter that can be tweaked depending on conditions. Say like 40% throttle in first, 50 % in second, 75 in third, Tweak and find a sweet spot then 100% for the rest of gears
Or by what ever means possible to try and keep from breaking the tires loose, I don’t think rpm is going to do it, I need to reduce power as making 600 ft lbs of torque right off idle helping to stay hooked is probably more relevant to throttle, boost, timing more then rpm.

I wish I had just went straight to e85 in the first place ,better fuel and so much more power ,,you guys need to hit CURT@DUSTEROFF TUNING up on the e85 packages ,here a snippet of the results you can expect ,one of my runs at beech bend this weekend

Drove my first RE today. Salesmen was a total newbie(3yrs selling was never in a Hellcat!). So we take it out with the red key (supposedly) but he doesn't know its in eco mode. Car was a turd. I opened it up on the service road. Told'm my 6.1 would kick this things ass U sure u got it in red mode?
any way we get back and what they offer me for trade in was a joke. Guess I'll be modding the 6.1 a little more. LOL. Def didn't accelerate like that! Total disappiontment.

never dynode it I was cutting 1.44 60 ft guess you could say I go by 1/4 mile power we ran 9.77,9.75 and a 9.73 and we were losing fuel pressure in the process bleeding boost and car was going into safe mode ,both my fpdms went out if all goes well and we race this week I plan on seeing 9.6 or even a high 9,5
