You are using Ultra94, right?
Yes I am. In spring I throw in VP octanium to the 91 in the tank that I store the car with.
Other than that Ultra94. My last time out it was Frenchcat's 94 with Octanium that I used. So then seeing as I gained .05 that is what I should be doing..right.
I joke.
I realize those gains were from colder drier air.

That's the thing, most people outside of Canada (Ontario/Quebec?) are getting donkey piss 91 or something they call 93 out of the pump. They don't understand that Ultra94 goes near the top of top tier fuels, and isn't Save-A-Penny junk. When we did Drag Week I ran my TBSS on E30/premium and Torco accelerator (on top of the propane) since I couldn't trust what was coming out of the US pumps. Our air is better and so is our pump gas. It is a conspiracy - orange man bad. ;)

Stick/slip aka wheel hop doesn't care about tire pressure. It's the coefficient of friction at the tire and track surface hitting a specific scenario that causes it. I had this discussion on a phone call with SRT engineers a few years ago.

@16GoManGoHC2 - you can convert your Baro in PSI in your dashboard on the trinity/laptop and save yourself the conversion.

Or you come up here and run a whole lot better. It's like Neverland (the island, not the ranch).

And the coefficient of friction is altered by tire pressure...

Wheel hop can absolutely be controlled by tire pressure and burnout duration as well as other factors

My "plan" is to start these 315's at 20-21 pre burnout and let them go from there.

OK, here’s a question for you guys.
Installed the BMR lower trailing arms today and put down 2 test runs. 49F here so pretty close to previous conditions where I’m wheel hopping on the street on launch in both first and second on 315/35-20 Nitto NT05R at 26 psi. The bars seemed to have helped greatly, minimal wheel hop in first, maybe 1/2 throttle, none in second probably 3/4 to full throttle at the top then hit third and go floored and go. Netted a 11.7 at 134 then a 11.6 at 133.5, 3.99 0-60’s, not bad on the street. BUT the big question here is look at the first picture of what third did on a cold night about 3 weeks ago, a neck snapping 1.39 G’s. Man if I could add that to the first and seconds pulls of today I’d probably net a low 11 or maybe even a high 10, that’d be SWEET on the street. What’s up with third? I’m running stock clutch yet, think it slipping in third?? CDV is out.

No, not yet, that’ll go on with the FAS billet blower plate, maybe this week.

I have a RXT1200HD with Alum Flywheel and Bad Boys Steel SFI Bell on the shelf but was hoping to get this summer out of this stock clutch and put it in next winter. Think clutch slipping in third???

Can you datalog engine speed, input and output speeds? That's how you can tell if the clutch is going away.

Don’t think so but I’ll check. Local motor shop guys looked at the graphs and they said they don’t think so and these guys race every weekend, build 10-15 real race engines a week and build and dyno cars daily. But what I remember hearing hitting third on the track last weekend third was either spinning or slipping, on 315/50-17’s I’d really doubt spinning but track prep not the greatest at Island and is there ever any sticky sauce half way down the track?? Could have been spinning??
