For the cost of 93 and using a octane booster or running ms109 it makes more sense to run e85. I live in a town of 3000 and we have 2 e85 stations plus we have many more around. I don't think I could get into the 9's with using ms109 or something like it and at $15 a gallon I will pass
For me I have to buy E85 in a barrel. While cheaper than ms109 it is way more expensive than than pump gas and booster or mix.
If I had to use race gas or E85/98 to run my car. Well I guess I would just sell it as it would not suit my needs)wants.

As I mentioned earlier I am really looking forward to seeing your results.

The way I look at it my barrel is a little less than 7 dollars a gallon. That’ll be cheaper than gas here soon 😂 jk I hope not. Well maybe. Who knows.

If I remember correctly it is about $165 for 30 liters or 7.93 US gallons here for E85 or E98. So I am more inclined to try a flex fuel tune so it can be E55/65 or something.
The costs of stuff up here is crazy compared to you guys.

E85 kicks ass, and I'll leave it at that. My car has absolutely LOVED it.

@Speedy! I assumed the same thing with table 3400 and that is what I did yesterday. So if we both assume it we must be right :p I had all that going yesterday. It could have been worded way better.
The only thing I don't understand is the part I highlighted in red but I'm wondering if it means what I did here. I contact support Monday. I'll post back my findings and a copy of the data in the tune so someone in the future can use it.

Jon, what's the question on the above? If you're wondering why the same value repeats, it just mean no more granularity was required.

My original post the spot I highlighted in red in the last pic is the part I’m not sure I’m

E85 is way cheaper then 93 in our area. Right now is it $1.25 cheaper

Unfortunate E85 is more than 87 and I think even 89 octane gasoline around here right now. It was $3.19 a gallon last time I checked which is WAY too much for E85. It usually runs about $2.20 - $2.50 a gallon. Glad I have a flex setup, I just went back to 93 for now. Not like I need 1000HP on the street anyway.

Who are you and what did you do with @Speedy! You always need 1000WHP on the street! After reading this thread I'm glad I went with the XDS injectors insead of the X2's. The data is straight forward and the tunability so far on 93 has been a breeze. @jonx96 how much timing are you removing up top till you know where your fuel trims will land? Also in the photo you highlighted, I hate how ID just doesn't give you granularity for that data. What I do is interpolate and then tune the data. Why make the PCM work harder?

I’ll pull 3 to 5 degrees in places. but remember this is the stock pulley. If it was a 2.85 it’d be more

Well Don't I feel like an idiot! I finally came back to this today.
All you have to do is enter the stock data in the spreadsheet from the stock tune.
Changing the highest value and next highest value cahnges the multiplier amount.
@Speedy! I'm not sure if that's what you were trying to explain to me. But I had tunnel vision. So after I read the instructions again it made sense as soon as I read it. I'm going to update my first post with this info so people in the future don't have to read through the comments.

Oh come on @Speedy! no one will ever tell us what 1000 hp is needed for except our significant others who find the boxes and wrapping from parts in the recycling.

I don't find myself running WOT on full kill on the street enough to warrant paying a 40-50% increase in the price of E85 getting 9mpg vs 93 that gives me 18-20mpg tooling around town. I drive my car all the time so that matters to me. On E85 I spend a lot of time at gas stations.

On the track I want all I can have and that's a different story.

You get that bad on e85? I only lost 4mpg when running e85. I never once put 93 in all summer. After I broke the axle I switched back to 93 to get ready for storage and that was it. Only time I can tell mpg is worst is when I go WOT on e85 is much worst than 93. But if I drive the car and try to be nice to it 3 to 4 mpg worst. High im 20 to 21 mpg at 75ish sometimes 80.

9 mpg around town on E85 unless I'm on a highway trip to the drag strip then I can squeek 16ish cruising at 75.

E85 there is expensive. When 93 was around $3.75 e85 was $2.25. For me that makes up the difference and then some in the gas mileage

I figure $1 less a gallon is more then worth it plus you have better fuel
Hard for me to spend $15 on ms109 when I can get as good or better for $2.25

Yep, makes perfect sense for the race track for me as well. It used to be $2.25 here up until just recently. Last time I looked it was $3.19 so I went back to 93 until things cool off there.
