Turn and burn till may 23rd, deconstruction may 24th. Drop off at Jason’s the 25th for cage. Decided to get cage painted white. Black cages lead to third degree burns 😭

Gutted the doors except the drivers one. Don't need moving windows there. Ordered big sheets of plastic and will be cutting custom door cards. Since this was a police car you couldn’t open the doors from the inside. The hardware simply isn't there. I’m sure there are more elegant solutions but I believe this is strong and safe with the glass thanks to the foam.

Starting to mount the radiator and lines. Last week I have the car, goes to fab for a cage on Saturday. When I get back we put it on the scales for final weight and then start the process of a first start and idle tuning.

She was delivered to Brazzel Performance and Fabrication. He has some heavy hitters from the MSHS series in his shop right now and his cage work is chef’s kiss.

Mike from Starck’s performance and I road tripped. It was great. NGL though I didn’t sleep the night before so was dead when I got back home. What to expect/do?

1. Bring your helmet for fit/measurement.
2. Ensure that your seat is good/in right position.
3. Drool over the other shit he’s working on in the shop.

Got home and passed out. Prior to this, cleaned all sound deadening. Shit sucks. Fuck dry ice. Worst method for the price. Heat gun, wooden spoon, goo gone.

some progress pics. Bars are tacked in for now but its coming along. I really like how he put the bars through the speaker holes. This is going to help stiffen up the chasis a lot. He did it in such a way so far that we already discussed upgrades to make it 7.5 compliant if I ever get there. 😉

Looks good.. Going through speaker holes is how I did my 87 mustang. Gains more room and looks way better then going in front of dash

Very nice. This thing will be the perfect 8.60 class car. That class is heating up. Only need the 8.50 cage and even the heavy cars like the Mopars can make the power to run right on a 8.60 index. Heads up racing with no sandbagging. 👊

I’ve been cooking… lots of life happens all at once and in a good way. Im helping a great friend of mine realize his dreams and in turn I get to realize mine. I am now the proud owner of these.


Mine are currently being built and will ship soon’ish. I fly out for my Holley courses in two weeks and I pickup my race car Sunday from fab and on Saturday im having lifts installed. Im sure y’all got lots of questions but the car projects will be on hold temporarily till I get the dyno business up and running.
