Yeah definitely don't want to do that.

Stock system takes 4.5 quarts,1.125 gallons, the BMR tank adds approximately 1.5 gallons. Total 2.625 gallons all together.

1.3125 / 1.3125 is the 50/50 mix. To convert to 70% water 30% coolant as per Kincaids directions I would need to get to: 1.8375 / 0.7875

1.3125 - 0.7875 = .525

So remove approximately half a gallon of coolant and replace with distilled water.
(kincaid's directions for reference: https://killerchiller.com/universal-kc-system)
To be accurate, did you take out the amount of the stock reservoir that was removed ?

It's not much but still.

What stock resivoir? 🤣 also the fsm doesnt differentiate that at all. Just gives total capacity.

Some progress was made, however the instructions kinda leave me scratching my head. Got the rails and injectors back on.

they want you to go to the front of the rail the at the back of the rail hit the regulator…

if anyone that has the L4 setup want to post pictures it would be appreciated, im currently scouring google looking for examples myself.

there is no way in hell you can get an a/n fitting on those threads, either the kit came with the wrong pieces or is missing the fuel rail extensions

Yep got the wrong ones, was supposed to get a 1.25" extenstion here: https://www.foreinnovations.com/product_p/33-016.htm. Instead I got these: https://www.foreinnovations.com/product_p/13-002.htm which is why I was confused AF with the kit when laying the pieces out. I'll call fore/hhp in the AM. I'm tried, I can't even get a fucking peaceful relaxing fuel install, nope just have to get the wrong fittings sent.
some projects are challenging enough you don't need them to mess up the parts:mad:

Okay so decided on rear of the rails is the feed and the front of the rails is the return. Mapped put the returns as I have quite bit to do to run the Y block. First where I mounted the regulator.

then did a mockup

return to regulator

rubber hose clamps will be procured for the lid to keep it tight. The final piece will be a small section of hose for the driver side return

and plenty of room for the feed to dump, will be wrapping the dump port in vibrant heat shield till it exits the engine bay.

Over the supercharger mount was not gonna cut it. Decided to close the hood and boroscope to see how much space i was working with. Not a lot.
C6F92E6A-41C7-41F4-B4FF-753D3290B47D.jpeg Stared at the motor a bit and found running it behind the SC was the best option.

using a trusty ziptie to keep it off the SC and away from the wiper motor.

then just oriented one of the arms backwards

pretty happy with result, hobbs switch was temporarily mounted and ran all the map pressure lines to the regulator.

making progress! Up next is the feed to the Y block and then the return. Tomorrow im picking up a ORB to AN 8 90* fitting. Not a fan of the height to the valve covers.

also got some tools out of it

For anyone doing a level 4 kit and using the OE sensor location I am going to save you a lotnof hastle. 4 inches, no im not talking about why your wife/gf/whatever is disappointed… Im talking about this…
E380F5AC-C5F2-40AC-B765-AEA8BDAACD30.jpeg 0330FE3A-26BD-42E6-9BE8-59FD7433D0C0.jpeg
From compression nut to compression nut that’s the length you need to accomplish this.
712603B7-8C76-40F0-8672-206A35C8BA47.jpeg The only other gotcha is you will have to remove the fuel rails starting on the passenger side due to the tetris you have to play because you will have to pretighten the AN fittings. You will not get a wrench on them.

D3261B61-6853-4A4C-A650-3B6751322950.jpeg
Otherwise everything else is fit and finish, measure twice, cut once.

Tomorrow is running all lines to the rear. 10AN feed to the Y block and then the return from the pressure regulator. Find yourself a 90* orb to -8 AN, youll thank me later.

Not a lot of progress really. Got the triples in and the return run.

take note of the feed not being straight. Well come back to that. Had a osha violation, fitting failed while under the car on the quick jack. Heard a pop and ran like usian bolt to a safe spot.

no leaks since…
Now getting back to the 45* fitting, fuck no, you have to lower the tank to get the hoses in and that 45 wont land the hose where its needed. Solution: take the -10 at the y block and just switch ends. Its perfectly fine for the 45 to hang from the Y block. Cant tell if fore ran out of fittings or if they are fuckwits… anyway return is run, however im smoked… did upgrade vise for making more an fittings

Decent progress, found that the 45* -10 fitting was a better option than the straight -10 over the fuel tank. However the fuel filter, yeah… this is how low it sat.

Scale of 1-10 you like the quick jack? When I built my shop I put in provisions for a lift, but haven't really needed one yet and now I'm spoiled by all the space.

Working on the car yesterday I was reminded I'm not 20 years old anymore though. Today I feel like I've been worked over with a base ball bat. All that laying on concrete and getting up and down 100 times, I'm too old for this LOL.

At the Dyno shop Saturday with my friends a guy was there who just redid his fuel system and he said within 2-3 days running 85 it leaked everywhere he used Teflon paste he had to take it all apart and use a special paste designed to handle the alcohol content in E 85
