20w-50 as per the Engine builder recommendations. Oil temps are between 190-212, I was pretty hard on it yesterday all while staying under 5500 rpm and got the oil temp up to about 220. yesterday was 85-88 and humid here.

Im seeing about the same, I’m running 5W50 but next oil change going to 15W50. I’ve seen 225 max oil temps in 80-85 ambient even after repeated 1/4 runs. I run E85 and after running the oil for 5-600 mostly hard miles see a 5 psi drop in oil pressures idle to WOT, change to fresh oil and pressure is back. Oil tests do not show a viscosity issue or a fuel contamination issue. I just don’t know why this happens. Is it normal? I’ve heard such is running ethanol? The Mobil 1 15W50 I’m going to try has the same 100C viscosity as Valvoline VR 20W50 but a much thinner cold pour numbers then the VR. But check this out, there’s 2 types of Mobil 1 15W50 synthetic oils, the racing version has more zinc and not as cat friendly and I’m still running through cats so I will be trying the black label first, has about the same goodies as VR.
I'm running the VR1 20w-50 in mine. that's what ill stay with on this engine. It's and awesome oil. plus I end up changing my oil so often, Synthetic isn't needed. normally get 100-150 miles between oil changes.

I'm still running Mobil 1 0W40 in mine. I've not seen any drop in oil pressure over 3,000 miles or so oci. Mine shows 43ish idle and 73ish wot. My engine is stock though.
Haha nope! remote started, no codes! Just a build that has been in the works for a while with a lot of great minds involved helping me. I have not heard many other Hemis that sound like this.
