Colorado license plate?
Yup. When I was 17 I left CT and drove out on my own (in a rusty 1974 Suburban that used one quart of oil every hour at highway speed), to Colorado to attend Denver Automotive and Diesel College. Graduated in 1982 and moved back east with that 70 440+6 Cuda 4-speed inside a 28' U-Haul truck and a 1971 383 Cuda Convertible I got for free from a junkyard, flat-towed behind it. It's a miracle I made it back the 2,000 miles to Connecticut. My only travel companion for the straight-through 24 hours of driving was my pet Burmese Python named "Monty".

It's funny, I still have four things from that photo, to this day. 1) the Fu-Manchu, 2) The Buck #503 Knife in that leather pouch on my belt, 3) The Colorado 2FAS4U plates and 4) That 1980 Street Machine Nationals license plate frame on the front. That exact same license plate frame is now on the back of Redeye. Here's the old trusty Buck Knife I bought when I was 16:

Me from the mid 80s.
Although now the hair is all gone, and only a goatee

You are mistaken, Sir. Your hair is not gone: you simply grew taller than your hairline. ;)

My dad got me one of those Buck 503 knives as a Christmas present, but passed before Christmas Day. I still carry it.

Dude, I've had a Fu-Manchu/goatee since I got out of high school, 44 years ago. Oh, to have that hairdo once again! (Photo from 1983)

Have both. Kept getting carded well in to my 30s so grew a beard, can't remember how long I've had it. Had a goatee for a while first.

Bull dog tat high on my right shoulder. Got it while at Camp Lejeune during infantry school.

I don't understand the young girls who get sleeves etc. Several very attractive ones like that at my gym.

When I was young, men did not get piercings and women did not get tattoos. When men first started piercing their ears, they would only pierce one ear, and there was a rumor that straight men would pierce on one side, and gay men would pierce on the other (don't remember which side was which). Anybody know if that was true?

I remember that one - I thought if it was on the left it meant you were gay... been a while since that was something, so I could have wrong.

Wife and I are adamantly against tattoos, it was WWIII when my 18 year old daughter came home with a bull skull on her arm. I do have a goatee though. I have to, I look 12 years old without it (I’m 53).

Never cared for facial hair, too itchy and too sweaty.
Only permanent markings on me are scars.

Yes it was true in the 80s-90s My mom had an all night diner right across the street from our towns gay bar and the right ear was for gay and left was straight. I had my ear done when I was in high school but haven't worn an earing in decades. Hole is closed up but can still feel the lump from where it was.

Not that one. I've had a dozen or so hemi cars since that. I dont know if it violates rules but here's a link to where I posted some photos of my hemi E and B-bodies from back when they were just decade old used cars starting at post #16 challenger talk site - "Greatest cars with a 426 hemi" https://www.challengertalk.com/threads/greatest-cars-with-426-hemi.712396/#replies

Well, surprised @1971demon hasn't jumped on this, but I'll wade in - which lobe has the 'lump' ??

I have neither. Never had the desire for either one.
I will freely admit to only shaving once a week though. :)
