Enjoy as designed? Like don’t modify them? Most guys on here are modifying the car.
What are you talking about??
Sigh. You are just going to make a point of butting heads with me from now on, aren't you? Fine... let's do this.
Yes. Don't modify them if you want to avoid breaking them. Seriously. If anyone is going to be an emotionally stunted cry baby about how "Dodge failed us" by not building the Hellcats with Top Fuel levels of durability and performance potential for pennies they are delusional fucktards; and dragging us all down by association.
Dodge
owes you nothing beyond what you were sold.
700+hp with a warranty. That's it, nothing more.
Beyond stock power the onus is on you. Modify it and everything goes out the window. 3.17 pulleys, one piece driveshafts, diff braces, etc are all indication to Dodge you are ABUSING your car. Bye bye warranty, bye bye reliability. There are some seriously entitled creatures running around in Hellcats who have zero appreciation for the realities of hotrodding. You see 1000hp builds on the internet and suddenly suffer an inferiority complex in fear your e-penis of automotive relevance looks to shrivel into obscurity if you don't have one too. Yet, these ego maniacal turds will plop down the money on those staged packages promising 1000 ponies and still want to run pump gas (because getting good fuel is inconvenient) on stock running gear (because why put all the supporting mods in place) at a full 4500+lbs of fully-bloated Hellfat (because no fat car shaming) and adding proper safety gear is heresy (because why value your life more than your car, right?).
This mentality is so counter-intuitive it is both perplexing and frustrating to observe. And heaven forbid you speak ill of anyone who has bought into this socially acceptable behaviour as you risk being labelled as a pariah within the community. The absence of good judgement and better sense is disturbing.
@Hpindy, pardon my soiling your thread. Looking forward to seeing what you have in the works.
