But ya know as soon as they hear upgrades they roll their eyes. You will have to test at the track while adding parts.

That's true and I will enjoy driving it hopefully soon whenever the rest of my stuff gets here, but I really was hoping to get more track time in then we did last year.

Oh well it is what is, but your right, there will be much breaking in and tuning to do.

So I tested my new "top secret " mod .... And it works like a charm!

I successfully converted my car to electronic power steering! Remember mine is a 2018 regular body hellcat . Only demons and widebody hellcats got electronic power steering in 2018 . And keeping with my build I used a rack and calibration from a demon

I have a friend that used to run a top fuel funny car back in the day.
Hs girlfriend used to pack his chute. One time she didn't attach it to the car.
Needless to say he got to check out the corn fields at the end of the track at Napierville.

So you may want to be able turn back

Unfortunately the 2015-2017 and the 2018 are really different in all the computers in the car .

Well boys and girls I got the car out to seat the rings in and start tuning . @Speedy! Big injectors are a bit trickier to dial in that's for sure . I'm trying to vary the load on the engine and data log and tune all the same time . But so far so good . No leaks , no major issues so far . I also had to readjust the throttle body setting after going to electric steering.

What were the high-level steps to do this?

I'd thought of doing this but thought that between the wiring harness and a body controller that it wouldn't be possible.

Isn't your car a 2016 like mine?
I am pretty sure it can only be done with a 2018+ car as some models had electric steering.
