I only say sad because a company I worked for (left 12 yrs ago because of following scenario) and loved did this same thing, grew too fast for it's own good when things looked extremely bright and the the owner (founders son) lost the business, which ended up being bought out by the employees rather than just closing the shop. Sad for him as he had glorious plans but no direction and he drank too much which I'm sure fueled the outrageous goals! Sucks so bad as he was a really nice guy and treated employees better than family. Worked out very well for the employees that we're offered a buy-in as they all retired millionaires about two years ago when the company was bought out by a much larger shop. My brother still works there but says now it's just another company and not a family
