I figured it all out. He get these things and keeps them just long enough for the tire shine to wear off, then trades them back in on another freshly detailed vehicle.
Cliff's Notes for this round. He got 2 Ram trucks, got rid of the recently acquired F450. He got another F150 Lightning after selling his a few weeks ago.

It's a Unimog FLU 419, much like the loader/backhoe and forklift/crane ones I have. But this dozer/trencher is rare.
Supposedly they made 13 of them, and for whatever reason they were sent to Mexico. Well, apparently at least one snuck back across the border some night. I've heard rumors about another one in Kansas, but that one's unconfirmed.
