Just getting some issues the car had since new taken care of.
Or should I say I finally found a dealer that would actually look into my concerns.
High oil consumption. Still uses about a qt every 600-1000 miles.
An engine noise from spring 2017 that sounded like a couple of issues at that time from the old forum. They turned out to be wrist pin. Mine made the same noise periodically. Now it is almost always when cold. Once warm it is fine.
The car has been there since April 14 th.

So at the track I had my laptop go flying… well I ended that today…



I’m not a fabricator, a grinder and paint make me the welder I aint. It can rotate on all three axis and is pretty damn stout. In the top pic you’ll notice that the arms have no paint. I finally painted them and they are drying. All done with flux core welding. So yeah not pretty but the welds are stout.

Good eye. Almost as big as those rears. I had to switch to 325/30’s (bit shorter) the wheel width and position make even a 305 rub the front liner. So had to use Cup 2’s. I never use it in the rain, if I did I would change the wheels. But these big expensive meats run so nice, soft and quiet down the road. It is a great highway car. All the race alignment settings don’t bother anything a bit either, it handles and streers great. No strange tire wear either.

Thanks for all the R&D on what works and does not, in particular with suspension, handling, and tire combos it hasn’t gone unnoticed. It will most certainly come in handy for myself and others. Yes the Michelin’s are great I switch between them and 555R2 in the back. Run nothing but PS4S up front, probably get a set of customs made to toss on MT315 Street R also.

I can count the number of minutes on one hand that mine has been unattended since December 2015.

It was worth it. Several relatives want Redeye’s now. Several comments like, “my car never pulled like that before”. One of my cousins may have been a bit weak getting out of the girl!

Nice work but they make stands like that. I have one I was using in my mustang. It attached to the seat bolt on the floor and it is fully adjustable like yours

With you having a Charger it'd be easy to find one out of a cop car. Hmm now you have me thinking. I think I know some places to check to see if I could get one to fit my Challenger. I may know some places to check for one. I'll see if I can find you one to.
