I washed my black nsx every morning on the way to work so i could put a car cover on to guard from the nm summer sun. I got to work sweaty and a little grimy. That lasted about 2 weeks...next stop was the asylum...

Desperate times coolblue, desperate times. I’m still looking for a set of PK HR5’s in 11x20 for the rear, but while I had the rears off today I popped on one of the fronts just to see how good they look. Pretty good I might say.

Got the RE down off the four post lift after storing it up there since December 1st. Trickle charger worked great, fired right up. Let in warm up, backed it out, admired it, drove it back in and back up on the lift. April 1st she goes back on full insurance.

Sounds stupid. But sometimes a little hope/ stimulation keeps you going. On a cold shi&*^ winters day (thankfully this year not to bad) I go in the garage and just stare at her. Imagine a nice day. Just cant wait.

You and @Old Mopar Guy are about same amount of crazy. You wash your car every hour on the hour. He polishes the exhaust pipes on a street car! I'll walk away slowly and quietly now.....no fast moves....shhhh .....
I might, if I had a lift.

Did a brake job yesterday. Had to remove the DP rotors/Hawk Pads. Never got to use the set-up. Damn it! The virus caused cancellation of the track weekend. If all goes well, it may happen again at the end of April. But the mags are going on and on nice days I'm driving the car down to work for my "essential" duties at the office. Now I can't wait to just engage this set on the street with my mods. Now we shall see if even a better 0-60 exists on these street tires. Keep your drag radials for the strip.

I must say we all got some real nice cars . I really like the individual touches that everyone does to their car to make it their own !

Good job everyone!

DGatzby,

Bummer they cancelled your track event.

Proof of concept with your 12" custom wheels and the Michelin 325/345 Pilot Sport Cup 4's complete - at least for fit and looks. To confirm, did you drive your car to the dealership to be suspension modded with these wheels, tires and the DP/Hawk rotors/pads? I thought you did - and that you got a taste of ride with mods what the car might be like on the track.

Now back to the 11" custom mags and the Toyo 88's? Which look outstanding, even laying on the ground.

Best,

Finface

After the mods were installed I drove home on OE 11" wide wheels w/ 305/35 R888R square set up. It felt killer! They got a test on an exit ramp or two, I was fairly impressed at the lack of lean and precise feel of the steering wheel. I drove maybe five miles on the track set, with the good brakes but it is too cold for the Cup 2's to have fun. Did it Friday, it was a little warmer, but still not good.

Now this week with 60's expected with the set on the floor, there may be a couple of roundabouts that are going to see some action. Also I bet I may make an assessment of the lack of wheel hop or not;) I also have a hot tank of gas with additive I was going to use. I am going to have some fun on my "essential" trips, weather permitting, screw it!

The giant PS4S rears - Toyo can only dream that large.
Michelin fronts also.
