Haha. Think that tire with a properly set 4-link will get this fat ass off the line?
Am I to assume the wheel well needed a "massaging"

Yes it will. No more than mine. These are the same tire I’m running and to keep them inboard as much as possible, there’s a area that needs some aggressive attention with a saws all and the big hammer. Nothing that isn’t doable. 6A493DBB-6C60-4F58-BB5C-6091D39A98F2.jpeg 8C2C60D5-A360-46BF-B896-D2E1FF839B9C.jpeg E8A9B4E4-57DB-48C3-A1D5-72A67C913146.jpeg

I would have thought it would have been coil overs.
Looking good .

This is the previous (to the current) version that was in the Dragpak. The new ones are coil over now and that of coarse will be a option. When I buy mine, we will have that discussion. This is the first one that this shop in Calif is doing for us and these will be an evolving mod. I also like the setup on the new Dragpak just coming out that uses a wishbone to center the axle instead of a panhard bar.

Haha. Tomorrow I wish. This job is still a month from getting done as a 7.5 cert cage is a part of it. It will be into next year before I do mine. I want to work with dialing this one some and see what there is to be learned. The decision between this setup or going coil overs will be a part of it. Right now I would probably say coil overs, but we’ll see how this does. This suspension ran 7’s in Leah’s car. Having a cash in hand buyer for my rear end as a complete package would help move me forward.

Update on the next phase. Finally made some decisions! DragPak rear end install starts on Dec 6. I’ve decided to make the car lighter and more efficient instead of chasing horsepower. The 3.8 Whipple is a pipe dream at this time and the best way forward is to drop 300 lbs and leave harder. A lot harder! I’ll be selling a entire 9” DSS conversion with suspension and brakes and wheels in December so if someone wants to treat themselves to a nice Christmas present... get ready. Don’t know what it will be exactly. 200+ at least just in the rear. Remember you’re pulling the fuel tank also and replacing it with a aluminum tank in the trunk. Plus With that you only have to run enough fuel to get down the track. None of the fuel pickup issues that forces us to run 10+ gallons in the stock tank. That’s 50 lbs right there. Wonder what this weighs.... 021366E7-939E-4F42-9A82-1BEE1A366812.jpeg

Within about two weeks now of getting this bad boy out of California and over to Arizona for the new trans and tuning. The cage is complete and just need to do the aluminum work. Going to have a lot better pictures for those interested, but here is one that shows how this thing ties into supporting the new 4-link suspension. 85D63B0D-C82E-487B-B54C-9597EAE48662.jpeg A4E59B79-BAA0-483F-89FD-7F57D219F366.jpeg
