Just pulled out my factory ds and planned on installing the Wiles that arrived today. Just a bit beat from hanging all the Christmas lights as well this am so tomorrow I’ll begin the install. I am fully prepared to be disappointed that there will be interference with the Barton shifter and will take it from there. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving...

Drive shaft in. All good! I had to pull it out two or three times to fit it but we’re all good. Got it only up to about 85 but no vibrations. You could see on the weld exactly where it was hitting the shifter and it left a mark on the shifter as well. I just hit those areas (on the shifter, didn’t touch the ds) with a grinding wheel for a while. Took off enough material to clear it, and when I took the driveshaft out for the last time in order to put Loctite on the bolts I hit it one more time. Only problem I couldn’t properly torque them down as I couldn’t get a torque wrench in so I just tightened them up nice and firm. 👍. Not a tough job at all, just a little tedious but if you guys don’t have an issue with interference between the Barton and the d/s, it’s a bunt. R&R the exhaust is cumbersome with one person but dooable. Two people would be a big help. Thanks to @Speedy! as I usually check his yt page before doing a mod that I don’t feel like bumbling my way through. 🍻

Put over 100 miles on the hellcat driving to Lake Michigan. We have had a great fall. It has been dry the last 8 Saturdays which never happens this time of year

I drove mine to the bank this morning and took the long way home. Banged out a couple of 2-3-4-5 shifts.

With it being in the low 50s, the car was making nice power.

I may or may not have broken a speed limit or two, by how many whole digit factors, I'll refrain from sharing.

By the long way home you mean through Mexico right?

I have to say global warming is really working out for me. It was 57 degrees in CT today so I took the Cat to the seawall by Long Island sound. Opened it up a few times but I never broke the speed limit :ROFLMAO:. Came back home and cleaned the whole car. Then I took the Super Bee out.

As an interesting side note to "Global Warming", ask any scientist worth a shyt if they would rather have +2C or -2C. (Regardless of cause)

We as humans can adapt to a +2C change, we as humans can NOT survive a -2C change, at least not in terms of Modern Civilization. In fact, other than changing the Coast lines a bit, a +2C change means more food for everyone (just from different areas).

Also ask anyone that complains about Global Warming if they would like it to be removed from the planet. Tell them to go take a first year astronomy class, where they learn that this planet requires a certain amount of Greenhouse affect to be survivable. (Basic physics defines the temperature of this planet without it, and trust me, you wouldn't like it.)

(Don't you hate it when people say "trust me"???)

I used to love cruising Ocean Ave. in the summer when I lived in West Haven. Lots of cars and bikes on display.

Well Gents (and Linda and Lize and any other female I missed),

She goes on the trailer and then off to the new owner in California in about an hour.

Bittersweet. From an investment standpoint, it's awesome. However, it's now apparent to me that this was much more than just a car to me.

Oh well, on to the next one!

Thanks. Think I'll wait around until the market resets and buy another!

Actually done last week but didn't get a chance to post it. Shout out to my buddy @greasy for doing the work. Don't know if he's on this forum too. But no more space and she whines!!!! Lowered on H&R Springs and JLT CAI.
