I'd for sure be interested in learning more about these transmissions. TONS of stuff in there to fiddle with.

I looked at your logs and there's an issue. For some reason HPT doesn't play nice when you start logging some of the transmission PIDS. It's like it starts to lag the software or something so it's hard to tell a whole lot from the logs. I'd turn off most of that transmission stuff and put it in a dedicated transmission dash board file for when you want to look at specific transmissions stuff. Notice how your knock sensor volts appear to hang, the timing starts to look a bit odd, etc. I had the exact same problem and it would literally only take one of the weird transmission PIDs to cause the problem. An example I found was like shift mode, shift situation, all of those seemed to cause me issues. Stuff like output shaft speed, trans commanded gear, torque request all seemed to be fine.

From the logs it was definitely spinning on the launch, and my opinion is that your launching too hard for the track surface you were on. I'd lower down to 1200RPM and roll in to it for starters.

This is wheel spin in a nut shell… now I need to go big or go home. Going to experiment. Friend had these and he had six passes on them. 305/50r17. Let the hammering in the well commence.

I'm curious what difference the wider tire will make.

Do you have Demon converter ? if not 2-3k rpm I think is too high.
FWIW - I do 1500 > 1700 & 20 psi.
And I think you may need a 315.
This.

315's accomplished, check my redneck thread, banging in the ribs now and doing a simple how to with a 5lb hammer.

I'll check it out. Yep, that needs to be done for 315's, not a big deal though, after I massaged mine in, I took some flat black paint & gave it a couple of coats.

Nice pass !
We would be a very close race.
I went Friday night & ran about the same in a little worse DA & humidity.
My first pass I didn't get a slip so had to go to the tower to get the #'s but it was 10.18 with 1.48 60'.

Car is doing consistent 10.2 in trash weather, still trying to find my 1500rpm foot. So used to bigger launches.

So the 9s still elude me, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The most recent revision has timing in it, we resolved all fueling issues with the dual pumps and it's go time! The car actually made me hold on each time as I had to steer it. I also did a lot better than I thought. I felt as if I was leaving at 3k rpm only cause I couldn't tell but after reviewing the logs I left at the following RPM: 1001, 1352, 685, 1506 and 1455. The 685 was me just seeing how it felt launching from idle. Here is the data from the day:

1628466296450.png

Friends with similar cars said my car is pushing those numbers, in high humidity with heat, the fall weather is going to make the car really wake up. Sending logs to tuner and hopefully I'll have some videos up tomorrow. Was really more testing the new tune and fudged some videos... time for beer.
