you don't have much to choose from when it comes to fuels up there ,also yall have to mortgage the house for race fuel prices lol
No kidding but I do have my car tuned for the fuel I can get at the pumps ( petro canada 94)
A 5 gallon can of race fuel is about $125 (depending on octane)

I know my knock sensors have been changed from the tune as for how much im not sure as I don't understand the settings but I must admit any kr makes me quince, right now we are tuning the actually pump gas part of the tune so timing is pretty low 12 degrees but I looked at the alcohol tables for timing and I am assuming that the 21 degrees will be with ethanol at 85 , I haven't seen the tune yet for the 2.65 but I would think it will be lower with higher boost but 15 lbs of boost with the 3.10 pulley on e85 will probably haul ass and im curious if I can achiev 9s with the 3.10

I wish we had 94 octane here from the pump but at least we get 93 and not crap 91.

There are two primary knock sensor settings. One is "knock window" and that's the crank angle where the sensors are listening. Hellcat is 48 degrees. Demon race PCM is 42. Redeye stock tune is also 42 so SRT figured something out.

The other setting is the knock sensor voltage threshold per cylinder. I have a video no the channel where I show how I dialed that in on the 2.72 pulley with the new motor. May be worth watch. It's measured in volts and the threshold is like a filter for noise. The higher you raise the threshold the less the knock sensor intervene you just have to make sure you get it right. I tested mine with race fuel and the main place I had to adjust them was at 4,000 and 4300 RPM. On 112+ octane I was getting 5 deg of STKR LOL. I knew that was false. Smaller pulleys on these superchargers make noise that the sensors think is knock so you have to filter that out.

I watched that video I still didn't get it lol but I rely on curt so I just trust his tuning but my tune does run a little richer then your as well which probably help quell the knock

Isn’t it crazy all the learning that has to happen during the process, as many as these cars out running you’d think someone would have posted and said hey if changing the tires move the shock wires lol
That has been mentioned a few times but not for a long time

tested the flex fuel tonight added about 9 gallons of e85 (I tested this about two weeks ago it tested e70) what it was tonight I have no idea ,I logged earlier and from a 4th to 5th pull to redline I saw max 13.5 degrees of timing ,,alcohol% at 27 ON PUMP GAS curt said the percentage could be 10% or so off either way ,well after topping off with Ethanol I drove maybe 3 miles and it showed 57% I do a pull on the interstate and I was like I thought I filled up at Mapco not EXXON because guys im telling you theres a tiger in my tank o_O the cat roared !! I punched IT at 78 mph and the broke tires loose im like wtf ,,so I look down at the log hell its getting 18.5 degrees of timing and no knock retard I hit it again 18.5 degrees all the way thru redline from 4th to 5th no knock retard .OMG ITS FAST AS F=====:ROFLMAO: I COMPARED THE LOG AGAINST MY 9 .92 PASS TORQUE NUMBERS AND IT LOOKS BETTER AND ON THE 3.10 PUSHING RIGHT AT 15 PSI ,I WOULDNT BE SURPRISED IF THE CAR WOULDNT RUN HIGH 9S WITH THE 3.10 I can only imagine what it will do with the 2.65 ,,,,THIS CAT LOVES ITS CORN LOL

I HAVE A DRUM OF RACE E85 AT THE SHOP FOR THE 2.65 PULLEY BUT I HONESTLY MAY LEAVE THE 3.10 AND RACE IT WITH IT ITS A NO PREP RACE AND I,M NOT EVEN SURE I WILL BE ABLE TO HOOK ,I DID GO BACK TO THE 2.62 SO IM HOPING IT HELPS ,I DO KNOW THAT THE RACE E85 WILL GIVE ME A MAXIMUM OF 21 DEGREES TIMING ON THE 3.10 SET UP AND I BELEIVE THAT IT MAY BE ENOUGH IN THE EXTREME STREET CLASS BUT CURT STILL HAS AJUSTMENTS TO MAKE AND HE HASNT EVEN GAVE ME A TUNE FOR THE 2.65 YET

I HATE THE NO STICKY IT PREVENTS ME FROM GETTING A QUICKY:ROFLMAO::LOL:
