didn't I hear #7 supposedly has carbon fiber wheels? If so, that's some significant cost of part plus OE markup

Yes. My 4th cousins sister in laws brothers friend's dad heard it from his priest at confession. He heard that from another sinner.

I think it was a 20k option on the GT500?

Some of us in Michigan have people we know inside because of location. So many parts for the big 3 are made in the state and friends work at these companies and for them

Hmmm...I know maybe 5.. uhh... gentlemen in Michigan..unfortunately..they have never worked a day in their lives...(but they all make a very good sauce););)

Sorry but having had two of these cars mostly apart makes me really appreciate that they're not $100K cars. I don't care what anyone says about inflation, horsepower vs competitors, etc. I've not owned a Porche, but it's on my list and for what these cars are starting to cost that's looking like a much better value. Don't hate me. If whatever #7 is costs over $100K why even bother.

So in your estimation..would you say even the current model RE's almost 6 figure price tag..is certainly no bargain...:unsure:

In my opinion, no. None of these cars are worth 6 figures. The quality and materials just aren't there. Start tearing in to one and you'll see. Cheap plastic used, cardboard panels in some cases, etc. Unless you just want to buy something as a potential collector/investment best bet is to find a used one and let someone else eat the depreciation. Having said that I'm also of the opinion cars are terrible investments.

Now I could buy a Porche and start taking it a part and find the same thing with the materials, but the ones I've driven were certainly higher quality at least on the surface.
