Machine shop special. They had a block that they were looking to move. I have a need for a block for a build in fall of 2024. Came out of a 2019 Charger that was in an accident, customer lost interest in project, machine shop sold on customers behalf. Some of the parts will go right on the OG build for my charger. Spent the weekend learning how to assemble a long block. This is the OG block from my Hellcat. She’ll do just fine on 15psi to start with.

Also spoke with Josh @ HHP. Says don’t even bother with the hellcrate controller. So now Im full circle right where @Marc W and a few others said I’d be.

What's wrong with the Hellcrate PCM?
By the time I wire relays, switches and what not Im getting close to the price of the dominator. Theres also transbrake, bump box and two step controls. My head is really spinning from all this and will have to make a decision soon.

I think I said this but if not… here goes. There are some things that are spent money. They aren’t sellable except at a loss. One of the lesser EFI systems might be in that category. The Dominator is not. You can run a Pro Mod on that thing. If circumstances change and you end up where you want to part out the car. You will get most of your money back. Consider it money in the bank. A savings account of sorts 😁

I thought the new ones had the hellcat logo on them?
The ones with the hellcat logo are 2018+, I wanted one as they will fit and the oil pickup clears. However on national backorder. The one I have is a factory correct 2015-2017 but was available from @HighHorseman who had it in stock.

Sound advice, I may pick your brain about controlling the hellcat bypass as Holley and or Dodge don't want to give up any information on it. Always wondered how the guys that do roadkill nights or dodge events and are gifted motors to put in cars get it done. I saw that some cars this year on the roadkill nights events were hellcrates though...

Holley is what the factory stock Dragpaks use and they have all of the plug and play harnesses for G3 Hemi’s in a package. So unless the shop you’re working with has specific Haltech setup and tuning experience, it’s just easier to go with a already available package.

Except for the Supercharger Bypass valve, apparently this requires a TS/SCI clearance to get access and a read in on top of that...

More like black program lol that’s how a lot of hellcat stuff is the shops keep it all so close
