150-300 miles at speeds from 60-150+. Analysis of sudden braking all day, acceleration specs that will make their eyes water, cornering g-forces? Love it, hope my insurance company contacts me and others so I can come unglued at their ignorance.

I just started getting a pop up today on the new car that data may be transmitted in accordance with driver acceptance or something like that along with the obey traffic laws. Just started the last 2 days, never popped up before. So CYA it appears

I believe this may be the (or a) key - if this is listed on your Build Sheet "GLOBAL TELEMATICS BOX MODULE (TBM)", then you have both the Dodge & Uconnect systems tracking you & you need to opt-out of both !

To get back on track... opting out only serves to make you feel better. Collecting and selling and collecting and selling your data is too lucrative, for everyone involved.

They don't tell your car not to collect the data.

They don't tell your car not to send the data.

It's still being recorded. Once it reaches capacity, I'm sure it loops and overwrites old data, if it can't call out. My cell has been blocked, for years. Haven had any U codes pop up, because the black box is full.

I made the cellcomm blocker, because I was tired of the constant OTA failed updates (some of which will never be fixed, as they've ignored them up until this point).

I made the satcomm blocker as an exercise in off grid performance of the vehicle. I do not use my onboard nav, so why not?

Understand that not opting in, or opting out STILL leaves the door wide open, for them to collect any data they wish to... and it's not just Stellantis.

The box will overwrite for sometime, it has algorithms in the code that decides what’s important or not, and keeps going. Would be interesting to know what they have on you, with all your blockers and such.

True. I used to get emails about trouble codes from the Guardian, but that stopped when my active subscription ran out.

The "TBM" shows up on the Window Sticker of the used '22 DSRT I just bought (see below), along with "Sirius Guardian".

Some questions then ...

• Why do some cars have this and others do not?
• Is it because my CARFAX showed it had been a "Corporate Fleet Vehicle"?
• When it was sent to auction by the fleet, was the TBM disconnected from the "fleet"?
• Or was the TBM disabled when I purchased it from the Dodge Dealer?
