Thanks. With all the money not being spent racing, I’m getting all the wish list stuff taken care of. Come fall there’s going to be nothing left to do but run it. I hope

Can’t believe this thing is going on two years now. My belts expired! NHRA tech requires current SFI Certs on certain things and the belts are one of them. Time to change it up a little!!

Well I wasn’t actually going to throw them in the trash. They will be going in the box full of stuff not used anymore to be a home for spiders and the like. 🕸🕷🦂
So... a little action to show what doing all this is about. This is what a 1.26 sixty ft looks like. You can hear the pop when I hit the limiter before the second gear shift. It was so quick... I was late
Not much going on with mine at the moment so.... I’ll talk about something we’re doing that has me excited for next year. If you look at that 8.90 video, you see the red widebody that I’m running with. That is Joe Padilla. He is from SoCal and is another of the SRT Autoworks cars. That thing is a monster in the making! He is going into Carlin Fabrication in SoCal next month for a full 7.5 cert cage, chute and....... the MPR Drag Pak rear end. I have been helping to orchestrate this and with what I’m learning, and the wheels that are now set in motion...... I have little doubt that I’ll be doing the same thing in the future. This all started when I was contacted by another Utah based Hellcat owner (B5redeye) who heard about my car and is in the process of building a full-on outlaw HC. He opened the door to MPR for me and now we’re off and running with that. MPR supplies the suspension and chassis stuff for the NHRA Factory Stock Class builds including the Dodge Drag Paks, COPO Camaros and Cobra Jet Mustangs. Here are some preliminary pictures of what I’m talking about. Besides shaving at least 200 lbs of weight out of the car.... these 4-link setups plant the tires like no IRS can ever do.
