I love racing in street class events. The problem I've run in to is that having a vin, plate, and insurance doesn't make a street car. That will be the trick.
SCT started off the same way I think. Last one I went to they lined me up with a Foxbody Mustang race car and I never went back.

IMO, the rules are not going to be simple, that is always the intention and ends up a with a rule book 50+ pages. For example, in the street outlaw class at MSHS a rule was added to state that nitrous bottles cannot be used as ballast.

The problem is weight, axles and differential wont' hold up. Not worth it unless someone sponsors that shit. Not like I'm gonna be on Discovery channel anyway.
