Looking at open haukers with the air dam. Have a good lead on 2022 tilt for car hauling that checks all the boxes, winch, small slope, epoxy frame. Just waiting on vin and gvwr. Also @Jimmy N. I towed to VMP with a friends suretrac. It was fine, truck barely felt it. MPG was def poop lol.

I'm thinking the basic load out kit. Empty jugs (pump e85 will be had). And my personal belongings and Ill be fine.
Air dam power bed open hauler is great depending on distance. Had the HC trailered on one for 400+ miles when brand new and everything was perfect (loading and.unloading were key concerns). Obviously, rain / hail /overnights wo protection can be issues, but these were not issues i had to deal with.

Enlighten me, what's wrong with Tractor Supply??
I tend to go to more local centered farm and equipment stores. Not saying anything wrong with it, just kind of walmart for country folk.

Hell, that is just a great shot. Everything clean, orderly, early in the morning. Good drag racing in a nutshell. Thanks for sharing.

And of course, an awesome trailer.

Added a mod to the battery system. Never got around to running the hard wires under the truck and fuck all can’t be bothered to now with the Hellcat in eternal slumber. First cleaned up the wiring and finally put the lid on.

immediately pulled the lid off to start a project

the kit can be found here) https://a.co/d/9aPQNno
Attached the PWM module to the lid with outdoor velcro:

Spliced in a battery connector to attach to the existing one. Did a test since it was getting dark out. Tested load and charging with a spot light.

Nice! Do these little solar cells actually work?

temporarily moved the panel to its final resting place. The PV cell was putting out 12v easily.

Going to let it soak for a bit. If I like the voltage increase then ill velcro attach and let it be all summer. Real test is when the winch goes through a few cycles.

Is that charge controller a good match for the battery type?

Yes. It allows you to select your battery type. Sealed, agm, flooded. Its a hell of a controller for the small price.

I've had good luck with Renogy controllers. One of them even lets me pick between 12 and 24 Volts.

Do you know if it peaked at around ~14.5vdc?
It did not, even my 3amp battery tender keeps it at 13.3v. An alternator pumps out way more power than these devices.
