Power can be extrapolated from the timeslip - trap speed don't lie. This thing will respond nicely from these mods... especially with good fuel and more timing.

I agree . I will be pump gas 94 octane for a long time yet . But I think I can ring this out for a bit yet considering I have traction issues . Once I figure out the traction then I revisit the trap speed
I have a street car I can drive anywhere that runs 9.6's in the summer ..... WTF . I can run this car on 91 if I have too ( spinning ain't winning ) and 93-94 at the track anywhere any time . Technology and smart thinking have really come a long way . Or I live in the matrix and have not figured it out yet ..................
No your not cheating once you start modding anything goes. Double edged sword. That’s why I like to stay stock because once you go down the rabbit hole there is no end.
we all know pump gas is crap fuel for what where doing, hate to see you find that fragile line.
is there a pump gas record?? you may already own it.this coming season 94 for the street c16 for the track in my car.
As has been previously discussed, or beaten to death, better fuel equals a satisfactory safety net at the limit. Pump 94 isn't as consistent as 94 in a can; but, that is cost prohibitive (still not sure how the juice is worth the squeeze when you are willing to save pennies vs. risking spending pounds on a new long block?) Hence supplemental fuel systems are used... at least by every other factory boosted community other than this one.
But, then again lots of questions like these remain unanswered with respect to these cars.
Technically speaking running a supplemental fuel system would be outside the box thinking around here.

Thats the thing........... I am very confident in my car and the tune that is being used . I consider my tune VERY conservative and I still have all the factory "safeties" still in place .I have spoken to Mike at ost many times on this . ( he doesn't recommend this what so ever BUT also know I have a tight grip on my tune ) That being said I data log my car all the time and if I see anything that concerns me I will either abort the mission , modify the tune , or put octane booster / race gas in . I have seen more STKN , high duty cycles on stock cars then on mine . I believe someone posted that a locked ecu with the 3.17 was only seeing 7 degrees STKN! And they didn't seem concern. I freak out if I see 2 degrees .
But hey we will see what happens next season ...
