I’ve heard there is still quite a bit of grinding
I thought with the "very expensive " shiny knuckles there was no grinding ?

there is no grinding with the billet spindle. They are $1000 for the set. I purchased them because I didn’t like the idea of ground down parts at my power level. Plus they’re shiny and Hpindy likes that.

Well here is some of my plan ......
I plan on doing race gas now and I figure my poor engine is on borrowed time so I'm going to do a forged bottom end but to my own liking .
I was able to get my hands on a new in the box demon crankshaft for a screaming deal so I am going to use molnar pwr adder rods ( Molnar H Beam PWR ADR Connecting Rods Chrysler Gen III Hemi 6.200 Length DH6200TLB-T8-A) with a custom diamond piston and ring package of my specs . I will keep the stock CID and compression ratio ( 9.5 to 1 ) but beef the hell out of the pistons .
While the engine is out I will definitely add some TTI 1 7/8 stepped to 2 long tube headers and have them and the mid pipes ceramic coated .

I believe with the added cylinder pressure from the advanced timing I will be able to run with race gas it will be good preventive maintenance for the engine .

These are my initial plans but subject to change with out notice !

FFBOS....... December. My car goes in for the 4-link on 12/6 and the cradle will come out. I’m going to offer it up as a complete cradle package (DSS 9”, AAD, Carlyle brake conversion with spindles, 1320 springs and wheels) first and then part it out if it doesn’t move.

You get the first look at the start of the 7.5 cert cage to go with in my friends car. Look at those bars. They tie into the 4-link in the floor. It’s what keeps that thing from ripping itself out of the car. There’s only one way to do this. RIGHT! B5B3C656-05AE-4D3C-A226-82170BA826B5.jpeg 07E92FD1-F2ED-440F-85AC-A5B93CD8797C.jpeg

I agree with this . Most people think a roll cage is just in case you roll the car over . Lol a well planned cage ties everything together and gets that power to the ground instead of makin pretzels out of the car . It's crazy when you first look in a car and see it but once you start following the bars to there mounting points it starts to make sense .

Btw that seat looks comfy

Keep me in mind if it does not sell. I’m going to make the 17’s work though hopefully here in the next couple weeks :)

What parts did you have in mind from his set up?

The stock Hellcat motor seems to be a bit of a lottery. Some handle power just fine others not so much, ask me how I know.

On race fuel yours may live a long happy life but if you're looking for a project why not.

My buddy has run nearly 20psi on race fuel on his stock Hellcat for 4 years and still going strong. Mine broke at barely 800rwhp. Go figure.

It is, and believe it or not, you still “risk it” with the redeye bottom end, but I have yet to see someone post a thrown rod out of one of those yet.

That's the thing . I'm not willing to take that chance . I figure it's cheaper to build it stronger now then have to get everything new and start over .

Not many but RedEyeRacing spit a rod.
