I'm just glad I can build mine to blow away whatever they're able to come out with for pennies on the dollar and have fun doing it. If I didn't have a Hellcat already I would be scrambling to find a low mile gently used Redeye right now from someone dying to get in the lottery for the latest greatest.

Kind of like the new c8 z06 you’ll almost never see one on the street. I’m most intrigued to see what kind of marketing name their going to coin on this model variant.

They just cant seem to hit that magical 40k build mark as previous generations.

I think my buddy's problem is he's stuck in the 1970 model mindset and times have changed. He's accustomed to going out and finding 1970 Mopars in barns or whatever, giving them a bath, and flipping them for twice what he paid for them. These modern cars just aren't gonna be like that I don't think.

I tried to help him sell his Demon on all the car forums, Ebay, everwhere so I dunno how folks are getting what people claim to be buying them for. Guy on the other forum just bought one for $125K though.

Anyway, I don't have a dog in that fight. You guys know my attitude about it. We had a Demon for auction at ChallengerFest sitting right there for the winning bid to take home and could barely get $105K for it. Cars are terrible investments unless you just wanna hand it down to your kids. We don't have any kids so I drive mine like the wheels are coming off LOL.

Yeah dozens upon dozens of Demons have sold on bigger auction sites routinely over the years. So it's not a maybe, it's definitely a fact. Can't say what happened on your buds deal or your local auction except to say it was likely limited traffic/visibility. Bring a trailer has millions of viewers and the big house auctions have drunk multimillionaires, lol. Here are a bunch of Demons that sold on BAT. 2 low mile examples sold in the last month for 156K and 166K. The cars definitely still bring bank, which isn't surprising since even Super Stocks re-sell for 6 figures these days (102K in late October).

EXTREMELY few Z06s have been built so far. May as well be limited editions...

I am #25 at an MSRP local delaaer. He told me it will be YEARS before my number is up, if ever, lol...

Yeah I dunno about the Demon sales. Maybe it's just owners swapping cars who knows but my personal experience with two has been less than stellar.

I always thought there'd be some final update to the cars that wouldn't be limited, shame really but is what it is. I had a limited edition motorcycle years ago and never could really enjoy it. Swore I'd never do that again.
